If you read the curse site, a couple of people got accounts hacked shortly after installing. My guess is if you don't have a good firewall running or antivirus, there is a backdoor in the program with a keylogger.

And given these people are trying to reduce lag/ping, My guess is they have firewalls turned off, thus got hacked.

So be smart guys.

Also, they said WOW 2.3.2 now has included a no delay command for windows to send smaller, faster packets.

The program is fine. It was decompiled shortly after posting. Nevertheless it will not work when 2.4 is live. Something with Nagle I dunno. But it works, I used it this morning on both a Vista and XP pc. Decent results.

It does however slow your streaming capabilities. Just backup and restore after use if you have that much of an issue.

Also, to test your speeds try . I've used the TCP Optimizer for years and has given some fantastic results.
