I mentioned the Starcraft 2 gameplay trailer in guildchat yesterday, and I was pleased with the surprisingly big enthusiasm with the game we have in the guild. So I got the idea to dedicate a thread here on public discussion to any interviews, previews or leaked information that people find to be gathered in one place. I heard someone talk about seeing carriers in a magazine interview or something. That's the stuff I want posted here!
Also, whenever a new update is released on the official Starcraft 2 website, please post about it here so I can update the thread! :)

I do worry that toss will once again be the easiest class to play, and thus the choice of most players. Particularly in limited mineral maps, shield regeneration and 'cost free' abilities like psi-storm can really let you starve out an opponent. And for unlimited mineral maps, psi-storm and the versatile ground/air effectiveness of photon cannons for defense allow much less population space to be spent on base defense, allowing for larger attack forces.

Let's just hope EMP and Dark Swarm + Lurkers still exist..

A change to Terran I would like to see is 2 Marines per population space.. 1 zealot is far more than a match for 1 Marine (for the same space) and can easily take out 2 Marines (to equal cost). 2 Zerglings (1 space) can also eat up 1, and -almost- 2 Marines in SC1 (double the space, double the cost)... this is of course without medics handy and well-positioned. I've just always felt that terrans got shafted in terms of automated (non-pop space using ) base defenses vs ground. You may say "but tanks are great!".. well what about vs charging zealots and these 'immortals'?
