uh yeah, any computer buffs know about buying a motherboard? I know there's plenty of forum trolls out there, and tech-savvy people... any help would be appreciated My power supply died recently and with its last breath of life fried my mobo. damn.

i'm looking for a decent motherboard, around a hundred bucks. i don't know anything about brand names i just had a regular intel one. i heard ASUS sucks but that was from a drunk roommate long ago so who knows... any advice or personal experience would be cool, i need:

ATX, PCI-E video, 4 slots DDR2, pentium 4 lga-775 socket, sata connections, yea usual stuff

I have a Gigabyte and its been really solid. This is a lower end version of the board I have. Its under $100, has what you listed above and they are quality boards.

I run an Asus M2N32 Sli Deluxe WiFI edition. Thing is amazing. I bought it almost 2 years ago so Im sure its down in the $100-$150 price range by now.

I've had bad luck with Abit, but Asus has never steered me wrong.

I've been a faithful ASUS customer. Just built new PC recently with a small budget, using the M2N-SLI Deluxe no wifi.
