Being in college does not make you 'educated', particularly in a public state school. Anyone can get into college nowadays, you no longer need the academic or financial acheivement of the past to gain entry. This is unfortunate in some cases, since students of above-average intellect have to go through post-grad programs of one form or another to differentiate themselves from the rest of the mulling herds of 'college educated' troglodytes. Based on your sentence structure (or lack thereof) and wording I assume you'll take offence to that, which I assure you was intended.

I am by no means saying that you're not intelligent if you don't go for post-grad academics, nor am I saying that everyone in state colleges and universities are mindless sheep, bleeting on queue. I went to both a private college and then a state university, and there were 'brainwashed' people at both, just along opposite partisan lines. I simply took issue with your comment saying that this tasered troublemaker was 'educated' just by virtue of his being a college student.

He threw punches and elbows at the police, after they asked him to leave and they grabbed his arms to march him out.

The event organizer asked the police to toss the kid out. So they did.

As soon as he was asked to leave and he didn't that's trespassing and a violation of student code of conduct.

He handed a girl a video camera and made sure she was filming him right before he charged to the mic.

He even admitted to the cops that they did nothing wrong. It was a publicity stunt. He knew what he was doing and purposely resisted to get tased. The Sgt, gave the order to drive stun him to the ground since 5 officers had been trying to handcuff him, managed to get one on him and he elbowed his way free. He even grabbed the short female cop and picked her up off the ground.
If you think cops are going to stand by and watch another cop get assaulted like that, then you're insane.
