First off we reached page 40 on the "LFGuild!!! 70 Mage!!" thread. We had some downs but we picked it up and kept it going and made it the servers best thread ever. We've had over 7000 views, close to 600 posts, 132 registered users have viewed this thread daily and probably double that from anonymous users. With that said I would like to congratulate Bigjoan (hes a great inspiration), Ezmode (thanks for coming out and begining this thread), Moonstone (Nothing really special to say but I mentioned you) and to all the others who have contributed to that particular thread.
For those of you who don't know me, even though I may act like an old school member, I'm a new member to Immortality. I joined Immortality on April 9th, 2007 and since then I've had a great time and felt right at home. One of the first few people that I instanced with was Gunsmoke, Haniel, Dante, and Darklord in the Crypts when Haniel was in his mid 60's. After that I went to Karazhan and in my first raid with them, received the Lightning Capacitor over some shaman who then decided to gquit because he didn't get it. Not sure what his name was, but /wave. Ever since then I've had a great time raiding with everyone one of you (will name some of you later on) and with all my counterpart mages.
Going down memory lane, I recall many good things that has happened while I have been a part of this guild and many bad things too. For example:
Good thing: I met Bigjoan
Bad thing: I met Rogaine (this is the only time you will be mentioned)
Good thing: Trolling forums
Bad thing: Officers locking threads
Good thing: Raiding and kicking ass
Bad thing: Dying 3 times to Lurker in less than 2 minutes into the fight
Good thing: Girl Pictures
Bad thing: No girl pictures
Also looking back at some epic threads that I have proudly participated in:
"So I just got banned" - Poster Haniel. Where some 35 year old thought he could mess with my guildie friend.
"Polls" - Poster Moonstone. Where we had a poll of who was better looking Jessica Alba or Jessica Beil. Beil won by default.
"Felenya 70 Druid Application" - Poster Feleyna. Where I introduced the posting of girls on the applications which made this 4 pages worth of girl pics.
"Avisionn, paladin application" - Poster Avisionn. Where we met a 16 year old father who spent his time playing WoW. It has epic pictures in there too.
"Polls" - Poster Polls. Which spun off from being an application to being a discussion about girls which created many other threads.
And to the most recent threads
"Mutation-70 Shaman" - Poster Mutaion. Which is about nothing worth explaining.
"Phelankell - 70 - Warrior" - Poster Phelankell. Which went from an application to an emo thread about why people were kicked or gquit to then becoming a discussion about screwing your cousin to then becoming a discussion about why DMZ wouldn't screw Asian girls.
Other, more private, epic threads have been made and continue to excel in legendary status.
When I first joined Immortality, I was kind of uncertain how I would be accepted but every member made me feel like I belonged here. So I would like to call out the individuals who have inspired me to continuously strive to do my best and say a few words on their behalf.
Gunsmoke - You're cool.
DMZ - You're cool. Likes to read raid chat outloud. Its like ESL class for him.
Dante - You're awesome.
Calliane - You're okay. Only 1 thumbs up because you lock my threads.
Flay - You're cool.
Briandek - Best tank I've played with in this server.
Bentley - My troll mentor when I first joined the guild. Thank you.
Fudy - LOL. Thanks for making me known in the raids.
Masternarf - You're weird, and seriously I think you are gay.
Paladeus - Never really talked to you, but I read your shit in gchat. Funny as hell, good music, you're awesome on my book.
Stalyx/Sneacky - /wave /cast Conjured Glacier Water
Tishmett - Hardly ever talked to you, but you're a good player so you are worth mentioning.
Ezmode - Thanks for supporting my trolling and continuing my threads and keeping them interesting.
Moonstone - read what I wrote for ezmode it goes 1.5x for you.
BIGJOAN - MY PIMP. THANKS FOR TROLLING THESE FORUMS WITH ME. IM SURE WE HAVE MAdE HISTORY AND CONTINUE TO MAKE HISTORY IN THESE FORUMS. YOU'RE MY RIGHT HAND WHEN I JERK OFF AND MY LEFT WHEN I FINGER MY GF, BECAUSE I FINGER HER WITH MY RIGHT AND YOU AINT TOUCHING HER. THIS ONE IS FOR YOU.
