So I've been looking at some screenshots from Directx 10 games, and it looks like it's worth a hardware change. It's frightingly realistic, I think I would personally have a hard time shooting this guy in the face.. 
At first glance, I actually thought this was a photo.

I am a noob, so I am curious if it would just require a directx software upgrade? or a graphics card upgrade? I would have no problem cutting off all their faces individually hoever. |

Just curious, what are the hardware requirements for DX10, I'm running pirated vista on 2 of my machines. I know the game list is still pretty small for DX10, Age of Conan, a couple FPS, and maybe a couple others, but those pictures look impressive. |

The requirements are: A DirectX 10 compatible graphics card (Geforce 8 or ATI HD 2xxx series) and Windows Vista, the DX10 games also look pretty CPU heavy, so a dual-core CPU like an Intel Core 2 Duo or an AMD X2 would also be recommended. |
