This is indeed true. Zandalarian Hero Charm and the Talisman of Ephemereal Power can no longer be stacked, along with most of the other trinkets from Zul'Gurub and the level 50 class quest trinkets. A simultaneous cooldown will prevent these items from being used simultaneously.

EDIT: Let me explain the cooldown further, since there are questions. Use of these trinkets will trigger a cooldown equal to the duration of the effects -- which means that you can indeed use one directly after another.

So use the zhc and you cant use toep for 20sec, not so harsh, but looks like AP+PI+trinket will still work

Not a surprise really, it was just waiting to happen with all the normalization going about. Blizzard is finally realizing that dps is outpacing stamina but a huge margin and are trying to reign it in.

Will this mean no AP nerf? it might...

All that means is we need to get a few nelthoin's tears and keep switching in trinkets.

This news made me cry a little inside... and outside. Twice. Once for each trinket.

I still want a ZHC to compliment my ToEP, though. As a Warlock there are certain advantages to having both trinkets. Primarily, the fact that our DoTs don't decrease the damage bonus on the ZHC, so we can apply our DoTs, pop the trinket and get the full 280 damage bonus on each DoT. This is assuming we don't attack again within those 20 seconds.. but there are situations where that can happen.
