With the opening of the AQ gates on SC imminent, there's some very nice fury spec gear incoming.
Since i'll be going more of an offense/defense role instead of a pure offense role, someone else should step up and fill in the gap
So, without further ado, here's the gear i'd get if I was going for max dmg as fury spec. (This assumes DW fury, since the dmg potential for DW is greater if you aquire enough +hit)
Head:
Helm of endless rage... alt: conqueror's crown for more defense, lionheart for DW if you're going pure dmg with little survivability.
Shoulder:
Conqueror's spaulders... alt: drake talon spaulders are still good, and AB exalted shoulders are still good too, but conq is hot with the +hit
Neck:
Onyxia tooth pendant... alt: barbed choker from fankriss... ony tooth is still better for DW cause of more crit and more hit, but the AP on choker is very good too.
Back:
Cloak of concentrated hatred (drops off prophet skeram)... alt: cloak of the fallen god (c'thun drop?
) this cloak is hot, +hit, and stam str and agi... cthun cloak is 11str 26agi 15sta, pretty good, but hunters and rogues will want it too.
Chest:
Conqueror's BP... alt: zandalar BP, rank 8 pvp BP. Conq BP is the most disgusting piece of armor i've ever seen. ilvl 88, drrooooolll.
Wrists:
Depends on your focus here... for max dmg, hive defiler wrists. for balanced stats, bracers of brutality. for if you're light on stam, wrath bracers.
Hands:
Gauntlets of annihilation... alt: flameguard gaunts, gauntlets of steadfast determination. gaunts of annihilation are almost surely off cthun, another ilvl 88 item. SICK stats tho. Steadfast determination have good all around stats, but are slightly inferior to flameguard for pure dmg.
Waist:
Onslaught girdle... alt: triad girdle (very similar to onslaught but with more stam, less str and no +hit, still decent tho), royal qiraji belt (good if you need more stam, has balanced other stats too. Onslaught is still king tho.
Legs:
Conqueror's legs... alt: fallen crusader legs, bloodsoaked legs. Only thing that comes close to conq is rank 13 legs, and conq blows them away. SICK.
Feet:
Boots of the fallen hero... alt: chromatic boots, Conqueror's greaves...Fallen hero boots are basically same as chrom boots, but 6 more stam, go figure. Conq greaves are very comparable, but more stam and def for less agi. Not many other options.
Rings:
Lots of choices here: Don Julio's, accuria, quickstrike/ring of qiraji fury, master dragonslayer's, archimtiros ring. Personally, i'd go with don julio's + ring of qiraji fury. It's same dmg as QSR, but 4 more stam. Either is good.
Trinkets:
Some interesting new trinkets in AQ, like the -threat one, and the armor penetration one. The armor penetration one could be kinda cool, and the threat one could be good too, but I'm usually ok on threat as long as salv is up, your mileage may vary. Other than those, drake fang talisman is ridiculously uber for DW but probably not worth it for 2h IMO, since you'll already have +5hit with this other gear easily. Then the standard blackhand's breadth, HoJ, or ZG melee dmg trink.
Ranged wep:
Crossbow of imminent doom (drops off AQ20 final boss)... alt: blastershot launcher, heartstriker, polished ironwood xbow, dragonbreath hand cannon, huhuran's stinger. Any of these would be good, but Imm. Doom I listed has +hit, some agi str and stam... good balanced stats
1h weps:
Here's the tough part... which weps? well, imo, DPS is king. And the best dps combo currently is Blessed qiraji war axe + crul'shorukh, edge of chaos. Sure, war axe has int, but it also has crit, AP, and 60dps. You gotta figure if those other weps you're thinking about, will the stats they have add up to 2dps? Don't think so.
Alternatives inclued Ancient qiraji ripper, CTS, claw of the black drake, blessed qiraji pugio (i'd take axe over pugio, but I prefer slower weps for fury, stats on pugio are better tho
, i'd personally offhand it with edge of chaos if I got it)
With the main items I listed, you get stats like so: (lvl 60dwarf warrior, and I picked hive defiler wrists from above)

Main hand weapon dmg is 303.5-398.5 for 135 listed dps.
Enchants are stam all around, except for 3agi to back, and 15agi to gloves. Substitute str enchants for max dmg.
The main difference between this AQ gear and BWL gear, is slightly more AP, more stam, and a LOT more +hit. Happy hunting you crazy DPS maniacs!

Using Dark Edge of Insanity, you get weapon dmg range of: 560.5-689.5 for 168.9 listed DPS (multiply by 1.05 for 2h spec)
Using Ashkandi, you get

24.3%crit and gain sword spec.
Weapon dmg with Ashkandi is 521-636 for 165.2 listed DPS (multiply by 1.05 for 2h spec)
MS High stam/pvp
Choice here is between 5 conqueror or 5 wrath. Diff between the conq over wrath is about -200hp, +4.5%crit, +60AP, +~400armor, -~20def.
So I picked conq. But 5 wrath is still decent for pvp, due to the 5piece bonus and high stam and def for vs melee.
