ok so. i get a new computer after working on it for three months. and its taking FOREVER for WoW to install!! the first two disks were ok yesterday... and the third one just randomly stopped. so i thought it was wierd and it wouldnt continue so i took out the disks, restarted the comp and now i'm trying to re-install again. and now i'm stuck on the first disk  anyone know what i can do??

This month's Pc Gamer magazine has a dvd trial installation of wow. It will install with patch 1.4 but its hella faster than the cds and only costs $7 for the mag w/dvd. You also get a demo for dungeon siege II. The disc is a full wow install but if you use the code for a trial account you can't talk in any channels or trade....I wonder how many people thought these trial subscribers where snobs for not replying to thier tells or talking while in groups? |

lol i have the wow cds. and at this point it was going through the third cd... hopefully it works by the time i get back from work. 
ps- i have sp2 installed or at least i think i do. i'll check once i get back. thanks! |

Lynn, I assume you are running Windows XP, might not make a huge difference but make sure you have service pack 2 installed. Originally Windows XP worked for me, but after I reformatted everything was retarded until I upgraded to SP2. |
